This getaway allows you to explore the beauty of the Elaphiti Islands, with activities like kayaking, cycling and hiking through villages and scenic trails.

Feel the freedom to explore at your own pace—no guides, just you and the island. Our team is here to help with recommendations, ensuring you make the most of your Sipan adventure. They’ll provide the right gear, maintain safety, and answer any questions.

You will be accomodated on Sipan. Although it is the biggest island in the archipelago, its relaxed vibe is the perfect spot to wind down after a day of exploration.

You will also visit Lopud island that has car-free streets, offering a peaceful retreat where nature thrives. With historical and cultural charm, Lopud features Sunj Beach, known for golden sands and calm turquoise waters—a perfect spot to unwind. Beyond nature and activities, Lopud also offers cultural experiences like music evnets and the world known film festival.

This break can be easily combined with other Huck Finn 4-day trips in all parts of Croatia and the neighboring countries.

Day 1: Arrival at destination – Luka Sipanska

Your adventure begins in Gruz harbour, and we recommend catching the 4:00 PM ferry for the best start, even though there are later options available. Upon your arrival to the island, we will transfer you to Sipanska Luka and your accommodation. Once you’ve settled in, we’ll suggest some easy walks for your first day.

Feel free to shape your day—whether unwinding on the beach, enjoying a meal at one of the locally-owned restaurants, or immersing yourself in the local culture. You can discover the communal spirit through the game of bocce ball, a beloved pastime in this area. Witness or join locals gathering each evening for a friendly game, highlighting the warmth that defines Sipan.

Day 2: Lopud Island Hiking

Today we will explore the nearby Lopud Island. Lopud has many beautiful walking routes that take one from the shore to the top of the island and back. This island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and an ancient fort strategically located at one of its highest points. In the past it served as an observation point and was used to protect the island’s safety. Descend to the natural sand beach Sunj for a relaxing day, where you can visit seaside restaurants with a sea swing and hammocks nestled in the forest—an ideal place to enjoy a drink in the island’s tranquillity.

Day 3: Elaphiti Islands Sea Kayaking and Afternoon Sailing

The Elaphiti Islands are a paradise for sea kayaking and snorkelling. We set out from Luka Sipanska, paddling west towards Jakljan, Tajan, and Olipa islands. These islands offer hidden beaches indented coastlines, perfect for exploration. All three are uninhabited and their beaches can only be accessed from a small boat or kayak, resulting in several secluded beaches and a rich, undisturbed underwater world.

In the afternoon, a catamaran will take us on a sailing trip around the area. Occasionally our boat is met by friendly dolphin as we enjoy the sun setting over the Elaphiti. Return to Sipanska Luka in the late afternoon/evening.
