Zaton Bay Kayaking Half Day Trip - afternoon departure

Zaton is a 2 km long picturesque bay, only 8 km away from Dubrovnik. With many pebbly beaches, caves to explore and cliffs to jump off, this trip is perfect for families and those in search for a fun morning or an afternoon. On this 2 and a half long tour we will pass by some of the nicest beaches in the area where you can stop to swim, cliff jump and snorkel. The freshwater source Vrelo is a natural site located at the bottom of Zaton bay, whose waters once moved the mills. Zaton is also recognized as a Dubrovnik summer manor region. We will pick you up in the morning at 9 am or in the afternoon at 3:30 pm on port Gruz for your half day adventure. No previous kayaking experience is needed

PROGRAM

15:30 Pick up in Dubrovnik - Gruž meeting point
16:00 Kayaking instructions in Zaton and start
19:30 Return to the Gruž meeting point

Departure days:  April – October, Fridays afternoon.Other days on request.

Gear list:

- shorts or bathing suit and a hat
·T-shirt and sandals (or sport shoes)
·towel
·sun cream·        
·water

Equipment: We use professional sit-on-top kayaks with 2 seats and a 3rd one in the middle for children. You will get a dry bag for personal items (camera, drinks, etc.), a life jacket, and a paddle.

Included: guide, use of necessary equipment, insurance

Minimum age: 4 years if accompanied by an adult.
